The best pickaxe enchants in Prison OP are the ones that feed each other: Token Greed first to fund everything else, then the big area-of-effect enchants like Jackhammer and Tactical Nuke to multiply every block you mine, with Haste and Speed as cheap quality-of-life buys. After that, prestige your key enchants and push their masteries for permanent boosts.

How pickaxe enchants work on PinnaMC
Right-click your pickaxe to open the enchant menu. Enchants are bought with currencies you earn while mining (mostly Tokens, with some enchants sold for Gems), and they fall into three families:
- Greed enchants roll a chance on each block to pay you bonus currency (Token Greed, Gem Greed).
- Active AOE enchants roll a chance on each block to trigger an animated effect that breaks many extra blocks at once: meteors, black holes, dwarves, drills, tsunamis and more.
- Passive enchants give you a potion effect while you hold the pickaxe (Haste, Speed).
For active enchants, the proc chance grows with the level: at max level you reach the enchant's max chance. Boosters, crystals, rebirth upgrades, mastery upgrades, attributes, skins and enchant prestige can all push that chance even higher.
Best prison pickaxe enchants: the priority order
There is no single perfect build, but this order works for almost every player.
1. Token Greed (always first)
Token Greed pays Tokens when it procs, and Tokens buy enchants. Every level you add speeds up every other upgrade you will ever make. Get it going early and keep it ahead of the rest. Gem Greed follows the same logic for Gems, so pick it up once Gem-priced upgrades start to matter for you.
2. Haste and Speed (cheap comfort)
Passive enchants are low cost and instantly noticeable. Haste makes mining feel snappier and Speed gets you around your mine faster. Grab a few levels early, then forget about them.
3. Your first AOE enchant: Jackhammer or Mega Drill
AOE enchants are where Prison OP gets its name. A single proc breaks a big chunk of your mine, and every block broken counts for your income. Jackhammer and Mega Drill are great first picks because their effect is easy to understand: lots of blocks, often.
4. The heavy hitters
Once your Token income is flowing, spread into the spectacular enchants. A few favourites:
- Tactical Nuke: when it procs, it clears your entire mine at once and the mine resets right after. Rare, but one proc pays for a full mine.
- Meteor Shower, Armageddon, Orbital Strike: craters from the sky.
- Black Hole, Void Rift, Galaxy Collapse, Supernova, Big Bang: cosmic-scale sweeps.
- Dwarf Brigade, Zombie Horde, Golem Siege, Warden Wrath, Wither Storm, Ragnarok: mob armies that chew through your mine.
- Tsunami, Ice Age, Blaze Inferno, Thunder Storm, Dragon Breath, Sandworm: elemental chaos.
Several AOE enchants can also trigger your autosell and Token Greed on the blocks they break, which is why greed plus AOE is such a strong combo.

Greed vs AOE vs passive: how to split your Tokens
A simple rule: greed until it hurts, then AOE. Early on, most of your Tokens should go into Token Greed. When each new greed level starts costing more than it gives back quickly, switch to AOE enchants, which multiply the blocks (and therefore the money and Tokens) you get per minute. Passive enchants only need a handful of levels.
Do not spread Tokens across ten enchants at level 1. A few enchants at high level beat many at low level, because proc chance scales with level.
When to prestige an enchant
Enchant prestige lets you reset a maxed enchant back to level 0 in exchange for a permanent bonus. Depending on the enchant, prestige raises its max proc chance, boosts what it pays, or both. Each prestige shows as stars on your pickaxe, and each loop usually costs more than the previous one.
Prestige an enchant when:
- It is maxed and still one of your main income sources (Token Greed, your favourite AOE).
- You can afford to level it back up quickly, so you do not lose income for long.
- You have nothing more urgent to buy (a new AOE enchant at level 0 often matters more).
Enchant masteries: long-term progression
Every proc of a masterable enchant counts toward its mastery. Proc it enough times and it is mastered, which gives you Mastery Points. You spend them in the Mastery Upgrades tree with /mastery. Upgrades can raise your max enchant prestige on every enchant, boost your currencies or proc chance, and even improve your rebirths.
This is another reason to focus on a few enchants: the ones you use the most master the fastest.
